Overview
Plantar fasciitis is irritation of the thick band of tissue (the plantar fascia) along the bottom of the foot and the most common cause of heel pain. Pain is classically worst with the first steps in the morning or after rest, and it usually improves with stretching, supportive measures, and load management.

- Foot mechanics and load
Treatment Options
